GUASCOR POWER has specialized itself in manufacturing reciprocating gas and Diesel engines with its own developed technology applied to marine propulsion and auxiliary equipment, generation, cogeneration, power plants and containerized modules for power generation. Moreover, GUASCOR POWER is specialized on developing engines to work on biogases from landfill installations, waste water treatment plants and bio-digestions; lean gases from mines and industrial processes and syngas from gasification processes.

GUASCOR POWER concerned with the application of the newest technologies to our engines created a new research and development centre, GUASCOR R+D, back in 1996. This R&D centre is devoted to a constant innovation and improvement of the products. Located in Álava it is unique in Spain and considered as one of the most advanced in the world. The GUASCOR Research & Development Centre is also the head office for the engineering services of GRUPO GUASCOR.
Thanks to the analysis and evaluation of the engines, GUASCOR R+D develops solutions to optimize their efficiency, durability and strength.
