Machinery and Systems HQ of Mitsui Engineering & Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. has its base production site in Tamano Works. The scope of its production is wide and covers various high-tech products including from huge diesel engines for large ship to a small-sized peeling inspection device for honeycomb construction materials. Among others, the marine diesel engines, achieved in June 2010 the accumulated horse power of 70 million, the world highest record as a single brand engine.

The HQ will continue to be active in the development of environmental energy related technology “to create a new value through a fusion of leading-edge technology” and will endeavor to expand a business magnitude for advanced machinery systems and function product of medium-mass production.
