The 60,000-pound, 3,250 kW generator set survives a severe shaking in three separate axes during a simulation of a significant earthquake event. In addition to passing the IBC seismic test, the generator set earned pre-approval by the Office of Statewide Health Planning and Development for use in California healthcare facilities.
