Süd-Chemie was founded in southern Germany over 150 years ago. Our facility in Needham, MA is the manufacturing center in North America for all emissions reduction catalysts for internal combustion engines. We manufacture:

• Three-way catalysts (NSCR) for rich burn gasoline and natural gas engines
• Oxidation catalysts for lean burn natural gas engines
• Diesel oxidation catalysts
• Diesel particulate filters

In addition to manufacturing, the Needham, MA facility also contains our R&D center, analytical labs and an engine lab for verifying the performance of products for diesel engine application. We are an ISO/TS 16949:2002 certified company.
