Yanmar's L and N series air-cooled industrial diesels feature direct fuel injection and are among the lightest diesel engines anywhere.

The L and N Series diesel engines range from 3.1 to 7.4kW and their debut has made the diesel a viable alternative to the gasoline engine in a wide range of applications, from pumps and generators to powering small vehicles and equipment. The L-V models conform to EPA emission regulations.
